The charm of Collioure, a green setting, the authenticity of a Catalan residence. Welcome to Alix Lormand’s hotel.
“ The priority is to make our guests happy. And to establish a connection with our guests. ”
Collioure seems the timeless place ideal for your holidays in France. And, in the heart of this picturesque Catalan town, is Hotel Casa Païral, The Originals Relais, a peace haven in a green setting, 140m from the Mediterranean. Alex welcomes you here with warmth and conviction. Because her 3-star accommodation, in a beautiful 19th-century family residence, cannot fail to impress you. Everything here is harmonious and elegant, tranquil and friendly. The 27 rooms and junior suites are perfect for rest and relaxation. The private heated swimming pool, the reading lounge, the quiet and shaded garden take you to a world of serenity and wellbeing. “We value authenticity so that our guests can feel the very specific ambiance of Collioure,” explains Alix.
“All the rooms are decorated in very different styles,” explains Alix who makes personalised service a priority. Each of the 27 air-conditioned rooms and junior suites is an elegant tribute to the Mediterranean style. And Alix is very attentive to ensure guests’ comfort. Some of the rooms have a balcony or a terrace giving a nice view over the garden or the town.

In the mornings, Alix offers a generous breakfast which you can eat on the patio under the shade of a hundred-year-old magnolia tree, in the dining room with pretty stone walls or in your room. You can choose from a multitude of excellent products. With regional products carefully selected by Alix: “You must try the Collioure crispy biscuits, the jams and the honey, the department’s spring water, the local gingerbread or the region’s seasonal fruits.”
Collioure, within easy reach of Perpignan, lets you fully appreciate the charms of the Pyrénées-Orientales department and Catalonia.
STROLL AROUND COLLIOURE
Collioure is a charming town that is nice to stroll around. Near the hotel, you will enjoy the surprises this small town has in store for you, especially its fortified church jutting out into the sea; the two separate little ports by the old royal castle with their small Catalan boats in bright colours and typical masts; the small lanes with flowery balconies, interspersed with stairways...
VISIT PERPIGNANIn Perpignan don’t miss the beautiful Palace of the Kings of Majorca where the museum proudly exhibits the work of Catalan artists such as Hyacinthe Rigaud and Maillol. This palace was built between 1276 and 1344 by James I the Conqueror. The Hommage Tower gives access to the court of honour with its two floors of galleries. You can access the upper chapel via a Roman gate with arches in alternating blue and pink marble. Above the royal chapels is the keep, the palace’s unassailable bastion.
ALONG THE CÔTE VERMEILLEAfter the long sandy beaches of the Languedoc and Roussillon coasts, the Côte Vermeille presents a more rugged and rocky landscape. The fishing ports and marinas are set in bays protected from storms. Small maritime cities were founded on this coast in Antiquity.
What our customers say
"Peaceful and comfortable"
We slept well which is the most important thing. Very comfortable bed with good quality bed linen. The room overlooking the courtyard was very quiet. Breakfast was good but pricey. Some visitors went elsewhere for breakfast so the hotel lost their trade. The minibar is expensive. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
This is a very clean wonderful hotel! Close to everything staff very helpful!
"An oasis of calm"
An oasis of calm in a very pleasant environment Friendly and efficient staff.
"The Perfect Place to Stay in Collouire"
Casa Pairal more than delivered. It was a calm respite after a hectic day of travel. I only wish that we had booked in for a longer stay. We will definitely be doing that the next time we visit.
