The sound of the waves and the salty air. The warm hospitality on the Île d'Oléron. The Atlantic flavours. Welcome to Christine and Thierry Cheval's hotel.
"This is a charming hotel. Our guests have chosen an unusual, special, relaxing place and a bright little house scented with sea air."
With the ocean in the background, L'Albatros, The Originals Relais has a natural, cosy, peaceful ambiance. Their 3 Star hotel in Saint Trojan les Bains is a unique place "inspired by the water, the open sea and nature," Christine and Thierry tell us. The hotel is soothed by the sound of the waves in the perfect location in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains on the Île d'Oléron. Its 12 rooms and beautiful suite are an invitation to relaxation and wellness. Friendliness is a priority for Christine and Thierry who encourage guests to savour the delights of the seaside, namely the delicious fare in the warm hotel's restaurant.
The 12 rooms and suite at this warm and elegant three-star hotel can accommodate one to four people. From 12 to 26 m2, their names are evocative – "frégate" (frigate), "yacht" and "croisière" (cruise) – and encourage you to switch off in a maritime world. Some of the rooms boast mahogany furniture. With a contemporary and elegant decor and a host of practical amenities, the rooms and suite are perfect for rest and relaxation. Some have unobstructed views over the ocean while others look out over the garden.
