One of the most beautiful villages in France. Expansive views over Lake Geneva. Quality facilities. Welcome to Lucie and Manuel Pichou's hotel.
"Sharing special moments with special people."
Lucie and Manuel have a taste for travel and human relations so it's only natural that they should be drawn to the hotel industry. "We love to listen to and serve people," says Lucie who speaks five languages. When the couple purchased the this Yvoire hotel and restaurant in 2011, they set about renovating the whole place based on their favourite author, Jules Verne. Since awarded a fourth star, their boutique luxury hotel is an invitation to travel and escape with unobstructed views of Lake Geneva. "We also wanted to take an environmentally responsible approach, with recycled furniture, organic wines and organic local produce." In the semi-gourmet restaurant, the lake fish feature prominently. "The quality of our food and accommodation make the place even more magical. We want to give our guests the best possible experiences."
Romantic (with warm colours), contemporary (with brown tones) or chalet-style on the hotel's top floor, the 17 rooms (including three duplex suites) at the Hotel The Originals Jules Verne all boast an understated, refined decor and quality facilities. Aside from their surface area (min. 24 m2) and comfort, the best feature in all the rooms is the view over Lake Geneva. Most of them come with a balcony or ground-floor terrace to make the most of the incredible vista.

Labyrinths of plants inspired by medieval gardens, they're organised according to the five senses. With a garden of taste, a garden of smell, a cloister of medicinal plants and Alpine meadows, each section pays tribute to the abundance of the plant world.
