Enjoy the charm of a unique site located in Barcelona's bohemian district. Take in the calm atmosphere. Treat yourself to high-quality service. Welcome to Ricardo Page’s hotel.
"Customised service, an attention to detail, discretion, and efficiency... we do everything we can to make sure your stay is more than just a simple night at a hotel. "
Thanks to what he calls a "very fortunate" twist of fate, Ricardo found himself the head of The Originals Boutique, Le Palacete, which opened in 2016. After thirty years of luxury hotel experience, Ricardo wanted to get back to the roots of his trade: "human contact with guests from the world over, the option to speak in a different language every day, and an attention to detail while providing subtle, down-to-earth service". Located a few minutes' walk from the bustling heart of Barcelona along a small street in the Gràcia district, this former 20th-century residence, which was once converted into a cosmetics factory, offers a charming oasis of calm behind its two-tone facade featuring blond stone and yellow decorations set off by floral and plant motifs. In this small, 10-room hotel, beautiful materials are paired with top-notch finishes, comfort is balanced with design, and service is discreet and efficient.
The Originals Boutique, Le Palacete has ten rooms. While it may not have many rooms, each one is of excellent quality. Guests will be impressed by their size and services. The rooms come with bedding that is handmade in Sweden using natural materials, original chevron parquet flooring that complements the designer furniture, and a private or shared deck overlooking the city's rooftops. Any travellers too tired to climb the stairs, which are decorated with a Catalan fresco, or traverse the ramp, which is decorated with a winged dragon, are free to take the elevator.

In winter, a full, made-to-order breakfast can be enjoyed from a dining room that looks out over the patio. In warmer weather, it is served beneath the wild pepper plants, jasmine, and magnolias that line the inner courtyard. If you prefer to stay at the hotel to eat, Ricardo and his team offer communal meals. However, the neighbourhood's streets and restaurants have a lot to offer, including tapas, Italian cuisine, Argentine meats, and more. Stop by the reception desk for recommendations for whatever suits your fancy.
Ricardo offers a unique perspective on his city. He'll even suggest an unusual way to explore—on the back of a Royal Enfield motorcycle. Get set for an unforgettable, rip-roaring experience!
BARCELONAExplore all the Gràcia district has to offer. Located just a few steps from the hotel, the San Pau Hospital features a beautiful facade. This modernist building was recently renovated and is highly unique. Next, walk towards the perpetually unfinished Sagrada Familia, pretend you're Hansel and Gretel at Park Güell, stroll through the small streets and courtyards of the historical district of Barri Gòtic, mingle with the crowd on La Rambla, take the cable car to Montjuic, and treat yourself to a nice dip in the Mediterranean.
THINGS TO SEE NEARBYCatalonia is region of contrasts. Visitors can enjoy the silence of the Pyrenees and the impressive beauty of the Aigüestortes National Park in the north, the rushing creeks of Cap Creus, the unique plants and animals of the Ebre delta, the enchanting calm of the Poblet Monastery, the bustling and crowded beaches of Costa Brava, the calm atmosphere of the small fishing village of Portlligat—which is famous the world over for one of its former residents, the artist Salvador Dali—and the beautiful cities of Tarragona and Girona.
What our customers say
"Quirky small hotel"
No reception desk. No one to ask questions to face to face. Adequate room with great shower! Refrigerator did not keep anything cold. Very nice shampoo and body lotion-above average size bottles.
"Loved this hotel"
We stayed in the king bed suite. Omg. It’s huge and gorgeous. So comfortable and modern with so much character. The neighborhood is perfect. Close to so much, but not touristy at all. The breakfast is wonderful - would love to come back soon.
"Lovely Boutique Hotel "
We needed a hotel for a 9 day stay in Barcelona and Hotel Le Palacete was a fantastic choice! Our suite was very comfortable with a lovely terrace and separate sitting room. It was incredibly hot during our stay and we loved being able to return to our well air conditioned rooms at the end of the day! Ricardo and the staff were easy to reach and very helpful with various requests that came up during our time with them. The location is in more of a residential area of the city with lots of shops and restaurants nearby while still being only a 15-20 minute walk or metro ride to tourist areas such as Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Rambla/Plaza Catalunya & the beach.
my room was located on the ground floor and very noisy from street (motorbikes, cars), I could not sleep, so not at all a good night.
We had a fabulous stay at your hotel! Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the “manager” that welcomed us and was always available for any of our questions or weds....she was brilliant! Felt like arriving to family..... the hotel itself was clean, beautifully decorated, hip, and moderen ... the beds were amazing! Very very comfortable! All in all.... a perfect 10/10! Would definitely return and would absolutely recommend it to friends or family that are looking for a hotel while visiting Barcelona.
