A wonderful variety of products are available every morning at the breakfast buffet, including fruits, dairy products, cakes, cereals, meats, non-fat products, and more. All this in a cosy setting with intimate tables, leather bench seating and clubhouse chairs, with breakfast served between 5.30am and 10.00am. Breakfast can also be delivered to your room after 7am. If you’d like some tips on the best places to eat and the locations of some of our partner restaurants, simply ask at reception. Benoît loves his town and the beautiful region of Lorraine. The location of his hotel, in the centre of Metz and just 600m from the A31 motorway, is an ideal place to start your journey of discovery through Moselle.

Roman, medieval, classical, German... Metz has a rich, 3,000-year old history and its architectural heritage is showcased in a wide range of night-time lighting installations: St-Étienne Cathedral and its 42m spire under the nave, along with its 6,500m2 of stained-glass windows; the train station, richly decorated with its pointed roof and low-relief carvings; Floch avenue, a procession of early 20th century style and materials; the Pompidou-Metz Centre, whose structure stands proudly in the face of the traditional laws of architecture; not forgetting the 580 hectares of green space that make this city one of France’s leading green lungs.

THINGS TO SEE NEARBY

Animal lovers can visit the Sainte-Croix Animal Park, where they’ll discover 1,500 animals living in semi-freedom amongst Lorraine’s beautiful fauna, including wolves, bison, lynx, wild cats and more. Or perhaps you’d prefer to try Amnéville Zoo and its 2,000 animals from all over the world. History buffs shouldn’t miss out on a visit to Bitche citadel, created in 1681 by Vauban, along with the imposing Malbrouck Castle, a 15th century building that fell to the Duke of Marlborough in 1705, perhaps better known simply as Malbrouck, which you might know from the famous children’s nursery rhyme, “Malbrouck went to war...”. Just 45 minutes in the car will take you to the remains of the Maginot Line and the world capital of peace, Verdun, a first world war battlefield. Finally, you can also visit the home of Robert Schumann, often called Europe’s father, and his museum in Scy-Chazelles just 8km away.

We stayed one night in the hotel returning from a ski holiday, the location is great, only 2 minutes from the highway and the city center is at walking distance. The employees in the hotel were very friendly and we could park the car in the private hotel parking. Room has all you need and was very clean. Very good quality for a reasonable price. We will certainly come back.
