COULOUMIÉ BRASSERIE

Open from Monday to Saturday, the restaurant is run by Samuel’s wife and uses fresh produce to create home-made regional French cuisine. A variety of Ariège regional specialities are on the menu, such as tartiflette with duck and the Bethmale burger. Guests travelling on business will love the half-board packages on offer, which make this a great place to stop off and enjoy yourself whilst on the road. Originally from Thailand, Samuel’s wife is the chef here, and will be only too happy to whip you up a special Thai meal (reservations are required).

"Nice hotel in a pleasant setting "

Rooms were nice but bathroom was spoiled by having a shower over the bath; a major problem for anybody with even minor reduction in mobility like me. Personally I would rip the bath out and replace it with a same size shower cubicle as it would transform the bathroom. the lack of walk in shower would probably stop me booking again despite the other good features. Nice restaurant, good food and friendly staff. Good breakfast. A lift would be a good feature to invest in.

"Excellent Stopover"

The staff were welcoming and efficient, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Despite being in a commercial zone, it was quiet at night aaprt from a recurring sound from the kitchen.

"passing through"

Absolutely lovely room with red theme with roses. Bathroom huge. garage parking full but was allowed to park at rear which was more secure than the street. Staff very pleasant and welcoming

"Good location and nice hotel for an overnight stop"

Comfortable clean room with parking right outside the door. Good location not far from the N20 so ideal for overnight stop. Scenic surroundings and a lake within walking distance behind the hotel. The restaurant food was good and the staff very friendly. Would consider staying again if I'm in the area.

"Fabulous hotel & great location "

Apart from poor nighttime roadside signage, the hotel is easy to locate. Great rooms for an overnight or slightly longer stay with good facilities on site. Riverside walk nearby & historic Foix easily accessible

"Really great stay "

My experience is that when your the road it is a really good hotel to stay. We had dinner that was great and breakfast everything you need. Top stay what you get for that price!

"Foix hotel"

Easy check in online before arrival Two night stay during tour de france Staff at hotel very nice. Very friendly. Car parking easy and plenty of space Rooms clean and tidy , small restaurant ate outside food good and breakfast continental also good. Short stroll out back leads to nice lake with water sports

"Comfortable, cool in the heat and excellent on site food"

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Pillows and bed comfortable, with spare pillow and all white towels and linen appreciated. Excellent air conditioning in midst of a heatwave. Amazingly good dinner in the restaurant Salmon with Thai sauce, buffet deserts with friendly, professional and caring service. Our two small dogs welcomed. Town beach next door and easy to find with local amenities nearby before entering Foix proper. Thank you.
