A quiet city centre location. A welcoming team to serve your every need. Welcome to Stéphane Lopvet’s hotel.
“Being there for you throughout your stay.”
At the head of The Original Boutique, Hôtel Montélimar since November 2019, Stéphane is pleased about his career change. Five years ago, he left his job as a IT sales manager to work full-time in the hotel business. “I wanted to make this old passion a reality.” From vocational apprenticeships in three- to five-star establishments, he now runs a charming urban hotel in a town with its own share of charm. Slightly set back from the major thoroughfares, his three-star hotel with 44 rooms offers a town centre location with easy access and a car park (looking out over a nougat factory!). A director as much as a receptionist, HR worker and manager, Stéphane particularly appreciates the rapport he and his teams build with guests. “I like them to come here and feel good. I aim to listen to them first and foremost.”
In understated style with a contemporary design, the 44 rooms at The Original Boutique, Hôtel Montélimar are spread over four floors (with a lift). Air conditioned with newly refurbished shower rooms, a lovely welcome tray and a kettle, these spacious rooms offer all the comfort you need for peaceful nights far from the busy traffic. Families and mobility-impaired guests will also find rooms to meet their expectations.
In the room or on the terrace, you’ll enjoy a generous buffet breakfast. Whether you prefer coffee and pastries or scrambled eggs and bacon, there’s something for everyone: yoghurts, fruit, cereal, deli meats, cheeses and more. For dinner, you can count on The Original Boutique, Hôtel Montélimar team to direct you to just the place you’re looking for nearby. The hotel has a bar area for mingling and relaxing.
The Original Boutique, Hôtel Montélimar invites you to take a lovely break as a couple, family, group or business guest and explore the other gems in the city of nougat.
Built on the top of a hill, the imposing medieval palace, part of which dates back to the 12th century, offers spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Pay a visit to the seigneurial house which plays host to contemporary art exhibitions and the parapet walk. At the foot of the château, the park is a lovely spot for a walk.
An iconic part of Montélimar, Les Allées Provençales, lined with plane trees and peppered with cafes, set the tone for the regional art de vivre.
Fans of Montélimar’s iconic treat can’t miss a visit to the fun and interactive palace of sweets and nougat. Not to mention a delicious timeout at one of the town’s many nougat makers!
Flooded with sunlight and equipped with a projector, screen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and everything you need for your work sessions, the seminar room at The Original Boutique, Hôtel Montélimar can accommodate 15 people. During a meeting or residential or semi-residential seminar, the team will adapt to your requests and be on-hand to offer snack breaks and/or meal trays. The bonus: a town centre location and an easy-to-access car park.
