“Whether you’re staying for business or pleasure, we can offer total calm and comfort in a charming hotel on the banks of the Loire.”
When he took over The Originals Boutique, Hotel Parc, Orleans South in 2018, Pratik had a very clear vision for this 3-star hotel and its 33 rooms, operating for many years in the town of La Chapelle Saint-Mesmin. 1. Give the hotel a second youth, updating all the décor to a more contemporary feel. 2. Offer new services to improve the hotel’s standing. 3. Preserve the hotel’s wonderful charm and its calm setting, just a few minutes from Orléans, surrounded by a 3-hectares of green space on the banks of the Loire. “It was important for me to keep the values of this place alive, the warm welcome, the professionalism, the friendliness, helping guests and providing high-quality services” .

THINGS TO DO
In the mood for a long stroll along the Loire? Nothing could be simpler, with direct access from the bottom of the park. Want to go on a cycling tour? The hotel is pleased to offer bike rentals. In the surrounding areas, you can also indulge in the joys of a game of tennis, golf, hiking through the forest, boat rides, or perhaps just a spot of fishing.
An ancient royal town and the region’s capital, Orléans is a compact city that has everything it needs to charm and amaze visitors. Over the past few years, the old town has regained its traditional splendour. The rendering that once covered the half-timbered homes has disappeared, with their original colours and tones perfectly restored. The banks of the Loire, once neglected, have been given a new lease of life to the delight of cyclists everywhere. Orléans, a place full of history, is also the town made famous by Joan of Arc. It would certainly be tricky to miss out on learning about this symbolic figure from France’s past while you’re here. Sainte-Croix Cathedral is well-worth a visit, as is the Hôtel Groslot, a beautiful Renaissance building and gardens. If you’re on the lookout for some greenery, you can also visit Parc Floral de la Source, 35 hectares of parkland around the source of the Loiret.
THINGS TO SEE NEARBY
The Loire and all its castles are less than an hour away: Blois, Meung sur Loire, Beaugency, Chambord, Chaumont sur Loire, Cheverny… To the south, there’s also Sologne, the land of mystery and legend. Finally, the Loire itself, a royal river, a true red thread running through the country, offering a thousand and one different adventures as a couple, family or with friends. You could try your hand at cycling (with bike rentals available from the hotel), a stroll along the water, a walk through the vineyards, perhaps an historical, gourmet, rural or romantic trail...
What our customers say
A nice hotel not far from the autoroute for an overnight stay on a long journey
"Brilliant comme d'hab"
A very welcome break of driving 1000 miles journey from the south to the Midlands of England. Our elderly dog loves it and feels very settled there.
"Clean and nice spot"
Room was fine, newly decorated. Towels very thin. Nice spot with garden next to the river but you cannot see the river Terrace not attractive. Not taken care of. Pitty, you could make a beautiful terrace where you can see the river. Breakfast simple, sunday morning at 09.00 eggs were finished, they do not prepare food there so no eggs, almost no bread. Looks like nobody in charge for a refill. Overall, good place for a stop.

"Excellent little hotel, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, superb location"
The location is super, just off the motorway with an excellent gourmand restaurant within 100 meters and other more modest eateries a short walk away. Room and bathroom were super clean and spacious, crisp sheets and comfy bed /pillow. Plentiful hot water and a delicious breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I've had in a hotel for a great while! Thank you for a very enjoyable overnight stay! :)

Arrived were warmly welcomed given rooms and were unpressed with the cleanliness of the rooms which had a beautiful view of the river. I would stay there again, the breakfast on the patio was lovely
"Great for a quick overnight stay"
The hotel is perfectly placed off the main motorway. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and well presented. Furniture in the rooms was a little dated but it didn’t really matter. Reasonably priced.
