This hotel has a funny name, doesn’t it? “Contrary to what you might think, the establishment doesn’t owe its name to the hipster movement that idolizes facial hair, especially the upper-lip kind.” The name actually comes from a centuries-old deformation of the site’s original name: Mont Stache. Boris set down his bags in Seclin in 2018, after nearly 20 years working in club hotels around the world. He felt the “call of the North” and was won over by the warmth, friendliness, and genuine generosity of the region. Inspired, he reimagined the entire concept and redecorated the hotel (including half of its 59 rooms) in a minimalist, cocoon-like style mixing wood, industrial design, and clean lines. Outside, it’s all about street art with three huge, joyful murals created by an artist from Roubaix, bringing color and energy to the commercial park where The Originals Access, Hôtel Moustache is located. As Boris himself says: “You’ve just found the perfect hotel no ifs, ands, or mustaches about it!”
