Kevin runs the kitchen, while Victor takes care of the front desk. For these two Nord brothers, taking up the family torch seemed like a natural choice. "Our parents created Lille North La Ferme Blanche, The Originals Relais in 2010 after running a restaurant in Lille for 27 years". Nestled in the countryside surrounding the city of Lille, in Lompret, the historic building that is home to the Hotel La Ferme Blanche, The Originals Relais is elegantly arranged around a beautiful square courtyard. The Lompret hotel's upscale restaurant is on one side, while its nine cheerfully designed guest rooms are lined up on the other. Kevin and Victor are full of ideas for their charming, 3-star hotel. "Since we took over, we have renovated and enlarged our Bar and Restaurant area, and renovated our last barn with a surface area of 200 m² to host all types of events (seminars, weddings, private parties). We have also developed our vegetable garden, which now covers 1500 m² in order to promote the short circuit and to offer our own vegetables, herbs from the garden, beehives and henhouse...
Our delicatessen "Food court & Co" has also opened since May 2021 in the city center of Lompret. In 2022, we will open an additional ten rooms. And of course other projects are to come. We look forward to welcoming you.

In the dining hall or patio in the summer, Kevin offers a menu that combines traditional regional dishes with home-made creations. If you arrive late at the hotel, the team will serve you dinner in your room so you don't have to miss out on the restaurant's fare, which enjoys a great reputation in the region. If you feel like a cocktail or a specific liqueur, the bar offers a wide selection of drinks to choose from. The breakfast buffet is just as generous, featuring local cheese and home-made yoghurt served in the farmhouse's former dovecote, which dates back to 1460.

La Ferme Blanche

Here, you can enjoy regional specialities, freshness, creativity, colour, and flavour. Kevin's expertise is only equalled by the culinary heritage of Olivier, his father and the hotel's former chef. Make sure to try the truffle oil gnocchi with sailor's sausage (pork shoulder aged in a traditional fireplace and preserved with sea salt) in a Parmesan cream sauce. It's one of the house's signature dishes.

"A nigtht at La Ferme Blanche"

I discovered La Ferme Blanche during a business lunch in 2021. The food is absolutely fabulous. This time it was my first night at the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Better light blocking for the windows would be nice. The service was very good as was also the helpful receptionist. Breakfast was really nice, especially the fresh bread and the fruit salad where a real treat. I would recommend having water and some cereals available in addition to make it perfect. Overall a well earned 4 star rating!

COOKING CLASSES

Kevin and his father, Olivier, give group cooking lessons that last 1 to 3 hours. They are based on a variety of topics, including After work refreshment, On the go, Healthy plate, On tonight's menu, and It's my treat. During class, you'll prepare a few appetisers, two main dishes or a full menu, then eat with the group. Reservations required.
