Elegance and warmth. Comfort and originality. Charm and authenticity. Welcome to Hélène and Loïc Constant’s hotel.
“What motivates us is above all the satisfaction of our customers. But also, interactions, the richness of human relations. ”
In Nœux-les-Mines, an old Houillères engineering house has become an atypical place, combining charm and modernity. It is under the leadership of Hélène and Loïc, that the Hotel The Originals Lens West La Maison Rouge was born to establish itself as a hot spot for the art of living in the north of France. This 3-star hotel in in Noeux Les Mines, with its restaurant, Le Cercle, also run by Loïc, an inspired chef, has a surprising refinement and simplicity. It symbolizes warmth and elegance. Its 40 comfortable rooms are the promise of a successful stay in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, renowned for the warmth of its hospitality.
Refinement, authenticity and warmth are values that Hélène and Loïc like to share with their guests. Their hotel, a bourgeois residence of the 19th century, has managed to combine elegance and a classic chic style that is understated and authentic. The air-conditioned rooms, which can accommodate from 1 to 5 people, offer comfort, warm and cheerful colours. Some are designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility; all offer facilities that will make your stay easier whether you are alone, with your partner, with your family, with friends or colleagues.

The hotel has its own restaurant, Le Cercle, in which Loïc, an inspired chef, prepares modern and creative cuisine. To relax, the hotel has a “cosy lounge bar with large armchairs and a jazzy décor,” says Hélène. And to start the day, Hélène and Loïc offer you a rich buffet breakfast served in the restaurant, in a refined setting.
Le Cercle is an elegant, cosy and unique restaurant. Loïc offers a truly creative and modern cuisine, tasty, based on quality products. The menu changes daily. Some of the dishes you can discover, depending on the season and arrivals: duck breast with sun vegetables, hake, chorizo and curry perfume, Tilques monkfish and carrots, sweetbreads, coffee and liquorice juice...
Located in Nœux-les-Mines, the hotel allows you to discover Nord-Pas-de-Calais, a warm and exciting region.

"Good value hotel"
Just a stopover to our destination of Beaune but what a wonderful stay. Quick and efficient check in and out. Friendly staff hotel wonderful with quirky features. Great breakfast with a god choice. Our only regret is we wished loved to stay longer!
"A welcome overnight stay."
Very good but not perfect.
"Great stop for the Channel Tunnel"
Perfect location for stopping en route to the Channel Tunnel. Ample parking friendly quiet not a lot more one could want. And so friendly especially to my aged mother in law and her even more aged dog! But not easy to get to from the A26 two separate sat nav systems were totally confused! Maybe some directions could be supplied?
"A thoroughly good hotel"
The hotel is graceful and attractive. The staff were welcoming kind and efficient. The room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent and the service delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay here and would recommend it as a great base for touring that part of France from.
The hotel has two beautiful, fully-equipped meeting rooms filled with natural light.
