After having worked in the luxury hotel industry for several years, Sylvie is familiar with all of its rules. Here, in the heart of Auxerre, she took-over the family hotel and applied those values to give this beautiful noble residence a timeless elegance. Sylvie wanted The Originals Boutique, Hotel Normandie, Auxerre to remain a very simple hotel with a preserved authenticity. The welcome is, first and foremost, cordial. As for the service, it is without reproach. The 47 air-conditioned rooms display a style which successfully combines charm, modernity and originality. "It's a 3 star which has remained family-oriented and warm", recalls Sylvie. And mostly comfortable and extremely practical. Indeed, for the team, it is important that the "customers feel at home or even better".

BREAKFAST

To get off to the right start, a copious breakfast buffet is served in a pleasant dining-room or on the terrace. Sylvie wants to showcase regional products, especially the delicious cheeses. Conviviality continues at the bar lounge or, in the evening, on the lovely terrace where one can relax amongst friends or colleagues. A cosy atmosphere for moments of happiness.

"Good choice if you can arrange for an early breakfast"

Plus: spacious and clean room with comfortable king size bed (2 beds). Good location to visit the historic center of Auxerre and inside parking for the car. Negative/ to improve: at 9 am, the fruit salad, the brown bread and the bacon with egs were empty and stayed empty.

"Chambre mal insonorisée"

la chambre était très bruyante ascenseur, voisin etc... et la baignoire dangereuse on doit rentrer dans la baignoire par la partie inclinée à cause de la vitre pour des personne plus âgée c'est un risque d'accident

"First time in Auxerre"

A very friendly welcome despite an unavoidable travel delay. The hotel is well situated and the rooms were very comfortable. The hotel parking was appreciated.

"The place is nice and the service is excellent. Very good service."

The service was amazingly great and very attentive. I enjoyed my stay pretty much. The restaurant is also nice and the breakfast was quite good. The only "bad" thing is that you can really notice the age of the hotel; other than that I recommend staying there.

"Great hotel "

I really like this hotel, its definitely a good value for money. The room is spacious and the bathroom was very nice as well with a great bath tub. The view over the marina and sea is beautiful. The road is noisy but I always take earplugs so it was fine for me. The location is awesome, close to the train station and the beaches and saint jean cap ferrat. The staff was very kind and the little pool is a great area as well! Breakfast was all I needed it to be and for a very good price.
