A stone’s throw from the centre of Beauvais, The Originals City, Hotel City, Beauvais has a great location. This is one of hotels near Paris Beauvais Tillé airport but in a quiet and green setting. Tony, the manager of this modern 3-star establishment, decided to appeal to all types of guests: hurried and not so hurried tourists, passengers waiting for their flights and business travellers. The 61 rooms of this Beauvais accommodation are functional above all, favouring sobriety and simplicity. The comfort is everywhere to be seen: “I want my guests to feel at home and to enjoy the attention of the team,” explains Tony. This means being effective at all times. The rooms, some of which are accessible for handicapped guests, are fully equipped. With its terrace, this hotel makes a pleasant stopover near to Beauvais.

Our Beauvais hotel has a nice bar, an ideal place to relax after a long day of work or visiting the Oise department. There is also a pool table for those wishing to play. There is a pretty terrace where you can relax in the open air, weather permitting. And to get the day off to a good start, Tony provides a buffet breakfast served in the dining room or on the terrace.

"Perfect location for next day flight from Beauvais Airport"

Conveniently located, access by local bus, and next to Leclerc and restaurant. Excellent stay, cleanliness and staff friendliness. Will stay there anytime i have to take a earl flight.

"Very impressed"

On arrival, quickly dealt with, secure parking which was a must for us. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. The bed comfortable and we immediately felt relaxed. The hotel ideally located with Buffalo grill, and MacDonalds just across the road. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Couldn't ssk for more. I would happily recommend this to others and we will definately use it again. This should be rated 4 stars!

"Thanks for the memories."

Check in was a breeze. A member of your staff scheduled a taxi for us the following day. Eliminated any worries on my part. Unfortunately, left too early to experience the breakfast. When we were leaving we could smell it and it smelled amazing.

"Beautiful place"

I had a wonderful time at your hotel. Great room and fabulous bed, good private parking space. The outside area to sit in and have a drink and/or dinner is very nice. And the location is perfect to visit Province!!

"Everything is fine, except internet"

Internet way too slow, can't even watch a movie on Netflix at the lowest quality.

"Internet unusable"

I am a few nights every week in Beauvais. The hotel is quite nice, renovated room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Unfortunately I would not go back until the internet issues are fixed. The speed measurements are around 50-150kbps, which is completely unusable. It takes ages to load any webpage, and in this day and age it is not acceptable in a hotel. I had to use my 4G data during the stay. Otherwise nice staff and nothing else to complain.

TRIP TO BEAUVAIS

Go and admire the famous cathedral in Beauvais, a masterpiece of Gothic art built from 1225. With a height of 47 metres, a 60-metre transept and a gothic chancel believed to be the tallest in the world (48.5m), this unfinished cathedral has impressive proportions. Another symbolic monument is the former episcopal palace. You enter it through a fortified gate (from the 14th century) flanked by two large towers. The palace, which burned down in 1472 and was rebuilt around 1500, has kept its beautiful Renaissance façade. It is now home to the Museum of the Oise department.

PIERREFONDS CASTLE

Pierrefonds castle, one hour from Beauvais, resembles a medieval fortress. However, it was reconstructed in the 19th century under the supervision of Viollet-le-Duc. It features 8 towers and measures 103m long and 88m wide. Its high walls and parapets protect former barracks, courtyard, chapel, Preuses room and a keep. The French architect added some details inspired by Blois castle, such as the inner courtyard topped with a gallery of the main façade.

THE DOMAINE DE CHANTILLY

A magnificent castle stands in the middle of the water. Around it is a 7,800-hectare estate in one of the largest forests on the outskirts of Paris, the Massif des Trois-Forêts (Chantilly, Halatte, Ermenonville). Chantilly castle, a prince’s residence whose first fortifications date back to the Middle Ages, was constantly extended and restored. The Orgemonts, the Montmorencys, the Condés and the duke of Aumale made the estate a symbolic place.
