Lorsqu'il prend la direction de The Originals City, Hôtel Acropole, Bernay en mars 2018, Pierre s'est lancé un défi. Il visait à réussir aussi bien en « accueil en salle » qu'en « accueil en plein air » (c'est-à-dire en camping), son domaine d'expertise. La forme est peut-être en train de changer, mais l'essentiel reste le même : « profiter du temps passé à communiquer avec les invités ». Pierre est obsédé par le confort. Il a renouvelé tous les aspects au cours des derniers mois, du chauffage et de l'isolation à la literie et aux salles de bains, insufflant une nouvelle vie à l'hôtel trois étoiles construit dans les années 1990. Situé à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Bernay, The Originals City, Hôtel Acropole, Bernay se distingue par son calme normand, son accessibilité et ses nombreuses commodités (piscine extérieure chauffée, salle de fitness, salles de réunion, parking, restaurant...) . Pierre explique que diriger un hôtel signifie pour lui : "satisfaire les clients, offrir un excellent accueil et offrir un séjour complet avec un repos et des services de la meilleure qualité, afin que les clients aient envie de revenir encore et encore".
