A warm welcome. A cosy setting. Traditional cuisine. Welcome to Stéphanie and Laurent Lammin’s hotel.
“Hospitality and friendliness in a charming and welcoming hotel.”
Laurent and Stéphanie have been in the hospitality-catering industry for 15 years so they know perfectly how to split the roles. She on reception, he in the kitchen. A shared philosophy: generosity, friendliness, human warmth. All in a charming, cosy and so British setting… The Hotel The Originals Bruay-la-Buissière Le Cottage, uses aesthetic codes from across the Channel. A small touch of Scottish tartan in the 20 rooms, club armchairs and parquet flooring in the common areas, ‘country chic’ furnishing, library, ambient lighting, you feel like you’re in the English countryside. But rest assured, the cuisine is very French! Just a few kilometres from Béthune and within easy reach of business and shopping centres, this 2-star hotel is also popular for its quiet atmosphere and the owners’ constant smiles.
The Hotel The Originals Bruay-la-Buissière Le Cottage’s 20 rooms aren’t very big but have all the essentials. Cleanliness, comfort and quality facilities. The furnishing is inspired by Britain with part of the walls covered in a tartan pattern. Their quietness and intimate ambiance help to make these rooms perfect for rest. Two of the rooms are adapted for the needs of handicapped guests.
- Non smoking room
- Rooms for disabled guests
A continental buffet breakfast is served each morning in the hotel’s restaurant. Breads, fresh pastries and local products will delight your taste buds. In the evenings, the friendly and intimate setting of the restaurant will relax you and put you in a good mood to enjoy the chef’s traditional, tasty and imaginative cuisine.
In the kitchen, Laurent likes to keep things simple but still with plenty of imagination, generosity and flavour. His slate menu is inspired by bistro cuisine with a local touch such as juniper ch’tiramisu (a local version of tiramisu). The restaurant is only open from 7 to 9pm Monday to Thursday.
At the crossroads of Flanders, Artois and the Opal Coast, the Hotel The Originals Bruay-la-Buissière Le Cottage is a perfect starting point for tourist and cultural trips in the Hauts-de-France region.
