Where there's tapestry, there's Aubusson. Born of UNESCO's decision to include the skills of the highly renowned local tapestry industry in the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the Cité internationale opened its doors to the public in 2016. In addition to a museum with permanent and temporary collections, the Cité houses a specialized school, an arts library and a research and innovation center.

Inside, paintings, stained glass and finely crafted decorative elements frame the Treasure, the reliquary bust of Saint Valerie.
