It was in 2012 that Thomas left Paris to return to his native Auvergne. Not in Aurillac, where he is originally from, but in Clermont-Ferrand and its huge Place de Jaude, the lively heart of the city. Under his and Fabien's impetus, the former Lyon hotel became the Hôtel Le Lion. A new name and a rebirth for this 3-star establishment with a contemporary and resolutely graphic universe. "In the rooms, the common areas and also the hotel brasserie, we wanted to pay tribute to the new Realists (Yves Klein, César, Restany, etc.)", explain Thomas and Fabien. Many guests, both regulars and visitors, have the feeling that they are living a special experience here. "In addition to the unique atmosphere of the place, the team and the welcome are among the strong points of our establishment." Not to mention the location in the centre of Clermont-Ferrand, where you only have to cross the square to discover the city.

OLD CLERMONT
The city has 2 old centres. The one around the cathedral, where a few witnesses of the Gothic and Renaissance periods survive, such as the Savaron and Fontfreyde mansions, and the one in Montferrand, to the north-east of the city.
