Cyril has two heartfelt passions: Old stones and the hotel industry. So it was an easy decision when the opportunity arose to take over Le Manoir de Pierre Levée, The Originals Collection, a few kilometres from the town of Tournon-Saint-Martin, Indre, in 2018. The works were monumental but not enough to dampen the enthusiasm of a man who relishes everyday challenges. "Guests get back in touch with themselves here. It's a decompression chamber far from the frenzy of daily life. An old building built between the 15th and 19th centuries, our two ponds in nine-hectare enclosed grounds, our breakfast, our semi-gourmet restaurant and most of all our charming little hotel (six rooms) ensure a unique experience for guests!" A four-star experience!

Whether Standard or Deluxe, the six rooms at the Manoir de Pierre Levée, The Originals Collection are all housed in the estate's former outbuildings. Spacious and bright, their simple and elegant decor is inspired by modern design. "Water is life so the bathrooms and shower rooms have been deliberately placed in the middle of the rooms in open spaces," explains Cyril. It's incredible. And disconcerting for some. An experience, in any case. "Rest assured, the toilets are, of course, private!" Cyril tells us.
