Cristelle and Nicolas are delighted to welcome you to The Originals City, Hotel Hélios, Roanne North, where you're sure to feel right at home while enjoying your holidays at the Loire Valley. “The whole family lives here,” says Nicolas, “and we eat breakfast with our guests”. It was these shared moments that led the Montagnys to get into hotels in 2013. “We wanted to meet people,” they say. And people they have met. Their 3-star hotel has 41 rooms and is located just outside a business district on the N7 road, a few kilometres north of Roanne, in Auvergne area. In Mably, more specifically. From the reception right through to the dining room (La Table des Tuileries), and from the pool access to the services offered during meetings, everything is taken care of to make sure that your stay at The Originals City, Hotel Hélios, Roanne North is a special and friendly moment to share. “We look after our guests as if they were family”.

Guests will also love cookies and fresh fruit salad on the breakfast buffet: also homemade. Head to the bar for a drink or a quick meal, with its high bar tables and leather club chairs. This is one of Nicolas’ favourite spots: “Guests come here to have a good time, and swap stories” .

LA TABLE DES TUILERIES

Nicolas in the kitchen. Cristelle on the floor. This 40-cover restaurant can be summed up in one word: “homemade”. The menus change every day, depending on the produce in season and their availability. It is simple, good food and, as Nicolas says, is “healthy and tasty” too.

The hotel is just next to the Terminal 1. Very modern design and very spacious rooms with all commodities. The breakfast complete and the staff really kind. The bed very comfortable with soft bed clothes. The experience was great.

"Very nice hotel"

The room is small, but very confortable, clean, modern utilities, very good WiFi, big shower place for a small room. In Corona times I still had a very good breakfast and dinner delivered. Optimal hotel for short business trip or overnight in travel

Right next door to the hotel, a (non-heated) turquoise swimming pool glimmers invitingly at the bold: perfect for a few moments of downtime or some family fun and games. A few loungers have recently been added to the little sunbathing lawn, too.

OENOLOGY

Stretching out along 25 kilometres of stepped hillside, the Côte Roannaise vineyard is definitely worth a detour! Running alongside the famous Nationale 7 trunk road not far from Roanne, it is here amidst rolling countryside strewn with incredible villages that the region's winemakers ply their trade. If you’d like to find out more about this delicious nectar, don’t hesitate to drop in on one of the winemakers; they will be only to happy to see you.

One-of-a-kind Le Pal owes its uniqueness to a threefold approach: created in 1973, it is the only theme park in France to combine rides, animals and unconventional overnight stays. MEETING ROOM

Two meeting rooms are available for use. Measuring 15m2 and 65m2, they are able to accommodate up to 15 and 40 people respectively, depending on the selected layout. They are available for half-day or full-day hire, with or without a catering package. “We serve food straight from our kitchen, which means our guests can work interruption-free and still eat well. No cold plates here!”, says Nicolas.
