Calm and elegance. The charm of Vichy and high-quality service. Originality and conviviality. Welcome to Monique Pruniaux’s hotel.
“I enjoy being available to guests and anticipating their requests to leave them fully satisfied.”
The Hotel The Originals Vichy Les Nations in the heart of Vichy is a box of delights. Its nineteenth-century architecture hides original interiors. It contains 62 bedrooms including three junior suites, six family rooms and a studio. “We aim to make this a welcoming place with a relaxed feel”, explains Monique, the manager of this elegant 3-star Vichy hotel. The chic furniture and impressive chandeliers give the hotel a unique, modern and delightful style. “The building is one of the last Vichy residences of Napoleon III. It has its own character with unique bedrooms quite unlike typical hotel chain rooms. This is what our guests enjoy and makes them return again and again”, adds Monique. The hotel and its restaurant are ideal for families, couples, friends or business people looking for a friendly atmosphere and high-quality services in the heart of Vichy.

LA TABLE LES NATIONS
This Vichy hotel is ideally located in the heart of the historic district near Les Sources de Vichy park, the Napoleon III chalets and the Opera House. It also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the charms of the wider Allier region.
CHARMING VICHYVichy is a good place for a stroll. For example, you could wander along the Allier Lake boardwalk with adjacent beaches and restaurants. Or, perhaps you’d like to stroll through the fabulous parks which provide calm and cool. This acclaimed spa town, which now has a focus on health and well-being, also has charming eclectic architecture and puts on a myriad of cultural and sports events including opera, festivals, exhibitions, horse racing, and more.
LES SOURCES PARKThose here for the thermal waters, walkers and Grand Café clients mingle in this park in the heart of spa town and society life planted with horse chestnuts and plane trees around Napoleon I’s decreed springs. It contains elegant Art Nouveau covered walkways and a bandstand designed by Émile Robert as well as the old Grand Casino: the focus of Vichy life.
VICHY SPRINGSAdmire the Vichy springs building. It contains the Grande Grille which emerges at 40°C, the Chomel spring (41°C) and the Hôpital (33°C). The Parc and Lucas springs emerge at just 24°C while the Célestins is at 21.5°C. All six are captured in the springs building metal and glass lobby in Les Sources Park.
MOULINS: THE NATIONAL THEATRE COSTUME CENTREThis unique centre is in the Villars area and was built at the end of the eighteenth century. It was created to conserve and develop costumes and fabric used as decor from the Paris National Opera, the Department of Performing Arts at the National Library of France and the Comédie-Française. The centre houses over 10,000 costumes, the oldest of which date back to the second half of the nineteenth century. An exhibition devoted to dancer Rudolf Nureyev (1938-1993) features stage costumes and personal items among other things.
OPERA: OPEN SESAMEThe Vichy Opera House is revealing its secrets once again. Lucky visitors can walk into the belly of the opera house. Visit this Art Nouveau jewel: a prestigious location in a harmonious blend of gold and ivory.
This hotel in the heart of Vichy has three meeting rooms, each with natural light. In fine weather breaks can take place outside on the terrace.
