The Hotel Château du Landel, The Originals Relais is a unique place, an authentic 18th-century château, in Bézancourt, between Beauvais and Rouen. It is now an elegant hotel and is also a place where Annick and Yves share their passion for hospitality, service, authenticity and local flavours: “We want to share with our guests an experience of peacefulness and relaxation in a special setting,” explain Annick and Yves. "I will come again for sure!!"

I travel a lot for work these days and have fallen in love with France in recent years. An overnight stay in this great Chateau only adds to that. The peace, the silence, the beautiful surroundings, hygiene, the beautiful rooms and the friendliness of the owners and staff really complete this picture. I am allowed to visit a company in this area twice a year and for me it is clear that the overnight stay in Cateau Du Landel is part of this. I will come again for sure!!

"Bliss in Bessancourt "

To reach the chateau involves driving through a forest. Finally you spot this awesome family home. It’s appearance is certainly grand from the outside. Once you step inside a warm welcome awaits. Part of the owners charm is how they combine friendliness with discretion. If you are seeking up to date decor you may be disappointed. The whole could be transformed with the introduction of a different colour scheme snd plain curtains. There are no coffee making facilities in the room or water. Some extra touches would not go amiss. For example free coffee at the end of the meal? This is a big place needing a lot of upkeep. The access to our lovely large bedroom was via a damp smelling staircase. Maybe a dehumidifier and or plug in air freshener would help?

"Great short stay"

Lovely clean hotel. Good breakfast. Nice comfortable rooms with good working airco. Very friendly staff. Location is nice. Close to the old city centre which is stunning.

"We enjoyed our stay!"

A beautiful,charming hotel in a beautiful environment. Friendly hosts with a personal approach. The room was great. Although the bathroom might be more luxurious for the price we paid. The shower didn't work well and the interior of it looks very dated. But in the end,we would go again and recommend this hotel!

"Beautiful and welcoming place"

Beautiful building, room was charming with true character (exposed ceiling beams, lovely views of the park below through old fashion window, old tiles ) exquisite outside area in the back of the building looking at mentioned park, dining area in the setting sun on the front of the building, adequate swimming pool area with large heated swimming pool tennis court behind for a country club ambiance, lovely old fashion traditional dinning rooms (2, one with fireplace, another with deers heads on the walls, not my style) good wifi

WANDER AROUND ROUEN’S OLD TOWN

Wander around Rouen’s old town and enjoy the atmosphere of its picturesque narrow streets. They are lined with delightful timer-frame houses from the 15th and 17th centuries. Not forgetting the religious architecture with two Gothic gems, Saint-Maclou and Saint-Ouen churches, and the strange Aître Saint-Maclou, one of the last signs of mass graves of medieval plague victims. The law courts are also worth seeing, a wonderful building from the early Renaissance.
