A central location in Grenoble. A friendly and comfortable establishment. Welcome to Stéphane and Carole Bonnet's hotel.
“Meeting new guests, encouraging them to come back and always guaranteeing their satisfaction.”
It’s a nice hotel with an old and intricate façade, a bit lost among the large modern buildings around it. A sign of a not-so-distant past when the first cars of European tourists would stop at Grenoble’s ‘Select Pension’ lined with trees. Today, The Originals City, Hotel Gambetta, Grenoble is a charming 3-star hotel with 45 rooms, managed by a passionate couple. The hotel adventure began in 2007 for Stéphane and Carole. “We wanted a new career path after spending several years working in real estate and mass retail.” A new path that they wanted to experience as a couple based on a love of sharing and meeting people. “What’s great about this work is that it never gets boring. The variety of the tasks, and especially the contact with guests coming from different backgrounds.” As it used to be, as it will be tomorrow.
The Originals City, Hotel Gambetta, Grenoble’s 45 rooms range from single (for 1 person) to premium (for 3 people). Their contemporary and cheerful decor alternates between rural, nature, seaside and sunset ambiances. All are air-conditioned, are accessed via a lift and have free Wi-Fi. What our customers say
"Lovely Night to Grenoble"
I recommand this hostel for several reasons : 1- The crew is really nice and polite. There's always someone at the reception and always aware to your request. 2- The price is really honnest for the quality of the room, a good bed and a warm temp, cause baby it's cold outside ! The room service price is really cheap and there's large choice 3- The hotel is near every shops and market and nice bars with good beers and that : is priceless.
Very helpful staff, terrific location. Room quite comfortable although it became a little stuffy with the warm weather and the aircon seemed to struggle. (A minor inconvenience). Food was very nice and reflecting it’s age and style, the hotel had a lovely almost nostalgic atmosphere. Good value.
