When Pascal Beaudouin opened the Hotel The Originals City, Hôtel Alexia, La Souterraine in 2011, he knew that the immediate proximity to major roads would be a great asset. He was right. Tourists and professionals alike appreciate having easy access to this modern hotel, the large secure car park and 24-hour reception. But this is not the only highlight of this 3-star hotel in La Souterraine. Its 45 rooms are spacious and quiet, the bar invites you to relax, along with the outdoor pool, and its restaurant really holds its own. “We opted for a quality menu, with good products coming mainly from Limousin. ” Add to that a welcoming staff and a friendly general atmosphere, and you will have found the perfect spot close to La Souterraine, on the roads of Limousin.

"Lovely stay at the hotel"

Location is great, across train station and bus route 3 takes you to the beachfront. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was great.

LA SOUTERRAINE

A stop on the road to Santiago de Compostela, the medieval city of La Souterraine unveils a beautiful heritage, with its granite church, fortifications and old houses. Built from the 11th to the 13th century, the Notre-Dame church combines Romanesque and Gothic styles. Its crypt is an old Gallo-Roman necropolis. Near the church stands the monumental Porte Saint-Jean, dating from the 13th century, a vestige of the old ramparts.
