The entrance from the street is discreet. A simple passage between two walls from where you can barely make out the 3 floors of the former Cesson-Sevigné mill on the Vilaine river. A source of pride for Aude, the current owner, whose great grandfather Louis Goualin bought the mill in 1927. “It was my father, also called Louis, who turned the mill into a hotel-restaurant in the 70s.” Having decided to follow in his footsteps, Aude studied hospitality “with a sommelier qualification” says the young woman who gladly shares recommendations with guests.
