Cyrille settled down at Plonévez-Porsay in 2012 after having purchased Manoir de Moëllien, The Originals Relais from its previous owners, themselves hotel and restaurant operators. For the young Parisian - a building contractor - it's the start of a new life in Brittany, filled with encounters and exchanges. In order to give the 17th century building a new lease on life, he starts by renovating the 18 rooms, adding modernity without taking away from their original character. He then broadens his offering to include seminars and the rental of rooms for events. Finally, he makes a point of always serving a quality and flavourful cuisine in his restaurant. Today, Manoir de Moëllien, The Originals Relais is a timeless, restful and re-energising option to stay near Locronan and enjoy your holidays in Brittany in a unique way. Three qualifiers, one for each of its stars.

The Manoir de Moëllien, The Originals Relais's 18 rooms are divided among three outbuildings: the Orangerie, Ty Bihan and the Ecuries. The first houses the double rooms, the other two the duplex rooms for 2 to 4 people. All have been renovated in a decidedly contemporary style with whites, blacks, creams and clean lines. All are spacious and on the first floor which lets them enjoy a small private terrace with a southern orientation.

In the breakfast room, you will find all the sustenance you need in the morning around a copious and varied buffet (sweet and savoury). Beverages are served upon request. In the evening, you will be invited to the restaurant's vast dinning-room. It is authentic and rustic with its massive stones, exposed beams and imposing fireplace. While the décor may be Renaissance, the flavours are contemporary based on regional products and seafood.

THINGS TO SEE NEARBY

2 km from the hotel is located the medieval city of Locronan. To the north, go for a hike on the Crozon peninsula. Follow the coast and enjoy the beaches on Douarnenez bay. More to the east, discover the wide view of the famous Raz de Sein, well known by the sailors, with its Vieille and Tévennec lighthouses, and the fascinating île de Sein barely floating over the ocean. Head for land and to the authentic city of Quimper. Further south, you will find the charming harbour of Guilvinec, Concarneau and its walled city, one of the most visited sites in Brittany.
