The understated, clean lines of the newly opened The Originals City, Hotel Ecoparc, Montpellier East are inversely proportional to the human warmth that Sophie, Solène and the rest of the team bring to it. The clean-cut façade of this 3-star hotel, built in 2015, stands tall in the Ecoparc business district of Saint-Aunès, between the A709 motorway, known as La Languedocienne, and the entrance to a vast retail park. Although not particularly beautiful, this is a convenient location with a large, free car park. This hotel’s charm lies in its spacious, quiet rooms, and above all in the warm welcome provided by its staff. “Every guest is unique, every day is a surprise, every day tells or stages a new story,” smiles Sophie, for whom team spirit represents one of the hotel’s keys to success. “It helps create the warm, friendly atmosphere here. Our guests sense it, and are loyal to us.” Some have even become friends. The suites provide a Nespresso coffee maker, a bottle of mineral water and hospitality products.

"Nice and clean, but..."

located in an essentially commercial complex, the hotel is clean and very well equipped. Large internal parking and free. Smiling and dedicated staff. Negative point: do not take a room on the 3rd floor near the elevators, the noise of electrical machines (air conditioning, various automatisms ...) which annoys you all night.

"Convenient and comfortable"

Stayed overnight before catching the Eurotunnel service to the UK. Great location. Modern, clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.

"Our Favourite Stop Over"

Have been using this hotel since 2005 and really enjoy our stays. The restaurant is excellent and the rooms are nice. Always a warm welcome. Normally I would give 5 stars however this time I found the bathroom floor to have hair and powder on it and it had quite obviously not been cleaned. The bath had a ring of scum around it. Because we were running a bit late I cleaned it up but I would have expected better especially in these covid times. Im sure it was a one off but it has to be mentioned.

"Nice hotel, good design bedroom, comfortable bed"

staff is variable, some of them are fantastic, others are less. Overall is good. I would avoid this floor in the toilet: not really safe, can't be disinfected or properly cleaned.I'm not confident with that. Next time I'll bring some slippers.

"I'll never come back there"

Endless time needed to get connected to the wifi, with code numbers on registering screens that took 20 minutes to appears on the laptop. And again the following morning... what a waste of time. In so much other hotels, you come, get connnected and voila ! Tesla Destination charger are ... charged 10€ ! In 5 years, never seen an hotel charging fees for letting my car charge. I came in this hotel in the middle of an industrial park because of this feature. I accepted the poor surrounding and view because of these. But furthermore, I had to pay. Next time, I'll choose a less cheesy hotel and will go to the free supercharger.
