I’m fortunate to have staff who have been loyal to me for years. Cleanliness, simplicity, functionality. The Originals City, Hotel Costières, Nîmes’s 48 rooms are decorated in a simple style. The rooms and bathrooms of our Nîmes accommodation are admittedly a bit on the small side (even the family rooms for 4 people) and their decor is a bit dated, but they have everything that’s needed. It is quiet, despite being close to the highway and a shopping centre, and has good quality bedding.

Traditional cuisine is served at our Nîmes restaurant and the wide choice of the starter buffet is a delight for the eyes and appetites. The wholesome and generous breakfast buffet is available from 5am.

CANNELLE RESTAURANT

In this 70-capacity restaurant, you can enjoy traditional cuisine as a buffet of hors d’œuvres with a selection of hot dishes and desserts, à la carte, with two new seasonal dishes every day. Capital of Gard for the last 4,000 years, the city boasts cultural and historical treasures, particularly Roman: Maison Carrée, arenas, Les Jardins de la Fontaine, the Tour Magne… A must see is the Roman museum which opened its doors in June 2018 and the Great Roman Games held in the arenas in spring. A big historical re-enactment played out by nearly 500 volunteers from France and other European countries.
