A location at the heart of Reims. A great neighbourhood for taking a stroll. A great brasserie for eating. Welcome to Eric Dujourd'hui's hotel.
"To make your stay as pleasant as possible."
Eric has always been a restaurateur so when he takes over The Originals City, Hotel Le Bristol, Reims in 2017, he knows that this 3 star hotel's 2 main assets are: its location in the city-centre, directly overlooking the Erlon square - one of the principal pedestrian streets in the Champagne's capital - and its restaurant, L'Edito, a quality brasserie whose kitchen is overseen by a master-restaurateur. This hotel in Reims stands up well with its beautiful 19th façade and its wrought iron balconies with delicate arabesques. It offers 40 rooms spread over 5 floors, some overlooking the pedestrian street, others a rear building. Surrounded by warm colours and champagne bottles, the welcoming team proves to be friendly, energetic and attentive 24/7.
The 3-star The Originals City, Hotel Le Bristol, Reims counts 40 rooms, including one very spacious one located under the rooftop and with a kitchen corner. Very well equipped, these rooms are comfortable and functional. As for the decoration, it varies, with rooms that have a very contemporary atmosphere, some reduced to the strict minimum while others are a mixture of various epochs creating an atypical ambiance with an old-fashioned charm.
Looking for places to eat in Reims? Settle down amidst typewriters, rotary machines, books and old printing presses. Welcome to L'Edito's atypical décor, the brasserie adjacent to The Originals City, Hotel Le Bristol, Reims where you will enjoy your breakfast buffet and why not, your lunches and/or dinners. Here, the ambiance is friendly and swirling. You wish to dine outdoors? Have a seat on the terrace and enjoy the bustle of the pedestrian street while making your selection from the large menu that goes from pizza and burgers to wok dishes and baked potatoes.
For discovering Reims and its main points of interest, leave your car at the parking (the hotel has a partnership with the Champagne Parc Auto public parking nearby). It will prove more useful for travelling along the roads while exploring the Champagne region.
REIMSReims, it's 2,000 years of history; 25 kings of France crowned in its cathedral, a wonder of Gothic art; 250 km of cellars and tunnels exclusively dedicated to champagne; 265 hectares of green spaces spread throughout the city; 2 UNESCO heritage listings, the first in 1991 for its cathedral, the Tau palace and the ancient Saint-Rémi Abbey, the second in 2015 for its Champagne Hillsides, Maisons and Cellars. Without forgetting the architectural and cultural heritage gems like the Foujita chapel, the Opera, the royal square, etc.
THINGS TO SEE NEARBYChampagne tourist roads, between Reims and Epernay, offer beautiful views of the vineyards throughout the year. Visit the Verzenay lighthouse, the small local producers or discover the Faux de Verzy (a type of twisted beech tree unique in Europe) in the Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park. Let yourself be carried away by boat to discover Châlons-en-Champagne. And loose yourself in the narrow streets of Hautvillers, a typical village of the region where a certain Dom Pérignon perfected the method that would transform Champagne into the king of wines.

Fantastic location, with discounted parking metres away. The rooms were clean, and well presented. Breakfast was outstanding, reception even sent out to a local Boulanger is for gluten free bread. The two receptionists couldn't have been more helpful. Telling us of things going on in the city that we were unaware of. Altogether, every aspect of our stay at The Bristol was of the highest standard. Would I stay there again. Without a doubt.....I wouldn't even look elsewhere
