"Great StopoverGreat Stopover"

Phoned the hotel 2 weeks before our arrival to confirm there was a secure area to store our ebikes due to our late arrival. Arrived at 20.40 and the hotel was locked and no message received regarding the keys. We eventually got in through a rear door and had to phone the manager for access to our rooms.Our bike had to stay on the back of my car as luck would have they were not stolen.

"Good but No Wifi"

Our stay went pretty well. The room was in the annex, and was unusually large. No shower was a disappointment. Even though it was 15 degrees outside, the room was too warm. The biggest disappointment was the lack of Wifi in the room. The person showing us the room said that Wifi in Montfort was not strong. However, the Wifi 3 meters outside our door was fine. What is needed is for the hotel to install booster/extemder equipment to get the Wifi signal into the whole room.This is not expensive or tough to do.

A WALK IN MONTFORT-L'AMAURY

In proximity to the Rambouillet forest, Montfort-l'Amaury invites you to stroll through its narrow streets spread out below the ruins of the fortified castle. It is named after the Count de Montfort who took up residence here as early as the 11th century. It's in this small city with a medieval past that Maurice Ravel composed the vast majority of his works; you can, by the way, visit his house. A small elegant city that offers some pretty boutiques and good restaurants.
