The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Londres, Saumur is an old lady. Over 180 years old! It's also the oldest hotel still operating today in Saumur. Charlotte and François fell in love with the establishment in 2005. The couple, then undergoing a full career transition, wanted to get into the hospitality business to "combine their love for old stones and historical heritage with their need to please, to provide people with a restful break" . Ten years later, the goal has been reached: the hotel underwent a complete renovation, 2 aparthotels were created and a third star decorated the façade. But the couple did not stop there. In 2016, they expanded with the addition of 4 rooms with private terraces, a south-facing terrace and, most notably, with the conversion of their old conservatory with its Eiffel structure into a breakfast room / restaurant. "Hospitality has become our passion; it's just like if were at home receiving friends or family, sharing our stories, our favourite addresses and remaking the world".

Welcome to the very heart of The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Londres, Saumur: the old conservatory. 4 meter ceiling height and a glass-roof propped up by an original Eiffel structure: the setting is as impressive as the dishes which are served here. "There's no freezer here: all the products are fresh!" For breakfast, the breads and pastries are delivered by the baker while the honey, jams, fruits and other dairy products come from local producers.

LE CARRÉ DU LONDRES

Every two weeks, the chef Jean-Pierre Kausz invents 10 new recipes for jars, prepared with fresh and seasonal products: 3 entrées, 4 main dishes - including one vegetarian, both gluten and lactose-free - and 3 desserts. Le Carré du Londres is offering a brunch on Sunday mornings (11:30 am to 15 o'clock pm).

Le CARRÉ du Londres is open every day for takeaway and every Sunday for Brunch by Le Londres. The BOCO brand, created by Vincent Ferniot, a gastronomic journalist who is madly in love with good products, offers gourmet recipes signed by starred chefs and great pastry chefs (presented in jars and made with fresh ingredients, without adding any colouring or preservatives).

For Brunch, breakfast and lunch are combined in a complete meal, for a real English Breakfast, always accompanied by BOCO! Every Sunday from 11.30am to 3pm.

"Charming"

A charming hotel with lots of individual character. We experienced a warm and helpful welcome which was really appreciated. Excellent value for money and a good spread for breakfast. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. My only concern was the size of the toilet and my phone reported the WiFi had no security and was unsafe. This didn't distract from a great stay. Thank you.
