NOTRE-DAME DE TULLE CATHEDRALE

Built in the 7th century, Notre-Dame de Tulle Cathedral combines different architectural influences. Its groin vault pillars represent the Roman style, while the ribbed vault of the nave is Gothic. It is illuminated by huge bay windows, casting a stunning light on its interior decorations. Its bell tower, recently restored, towers over the town at 73 metres.

GIMEL WATERFALLS

This magnificent site sums up all the splendour of the Corrèze wilderness. Just 12 kilometres from Tulle, it is made up of three successive cascades coming from the Montane river. The waterfalls – respectively 45, 38 and 60 metres – provide a remarkable spectacle before plunging into the so-called Gouffre de l'Inferno. Remember to wear appropriate footwear for climbing the path leading to the waterfalls.
