WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

"Nice room."

The room was clean and spacious, the bed big, comfortable, and with spare pillows. Breakfast was fine, with plenty of choice - good croissants and pains au chocolat - though the juicer wasn't working, and the push-button fruit juice provider had run out by 9 o'clock. My only complaint - the shower floor was slippery, borderline dangerous for older guests, and could have done with a rubber mat, and the bathroom floor though better was a bit slippery too. The price - about 10 euros higher than equivalent B&Bs?

"Great location "

Quiet perfect location for overnight stay for Eurotunnel. Continental buffet breakfast. They do evening meal which we will try next time. Clean, tidy friendly. The fire alarm Went off in the night which was quickly dealt with as a false alarm. Will stay again with our dog.

NOTRE-DAME DE CALAIS CHURCH

A designated historical monument, the Church of Notre-Dame de Calais was built between the 14th and 16th centuries. Constructed in the shape of a Latin cross, it had to be totally rebuilt after the war. Today, it can be found surrounded by a Tudor-inspired garden and displays some magnificent medieval architecture. The interior decoration is also beautiful and truly worth a quick detour.
