Already deep-rooted in his family’s very heart and soul (having worked in catering and amusement parks), Fabien ran a transport company for 15 years before heading down a different road altogether. But not one on four wheels. “I was looking to take over a different kind of business. A local hotel near my home came up for sale, so I grasped the opportunity with both hands”. The building was fairly recent, set in the small countryside town of Cucq, with Le Touquet just a short drive away in the car. “You’ll find all the advantages of peace and tranquillity here, without any city gripes!” And that’s just what guests love about Les Jardins d'Ulysse, The Originals Relais. 12 spacious and peaceful rooms, lots of free parking and all close to the beaches of the Opal coast. There’s also a wonderful garden where rabbits, birds, woodpeckers and other herons put on a visual and auditory display for guests each and every morning. “Guests never get bored at our Cucq hotel, and I always like to see them leave with a big smile on their face as they say, ‘see you again soon’”.

"Wonderful hideaway "

Not haveing heard about the originals I was a little apprehensive prior to arriving. I should not have worried at all as both mine & my sisters and our -husbands thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Tucked away in the quaint village of Cucq, the hotel has very warm touches and a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast provided in a lovely setting over looking the garden or weather permitting in the garden Will visit again

We have decided not to be directly in the city, which is too busy. this was the perfect location, very close and very quiet.

"Very good stay "

Friendly check in and shown to the room which was a nice touch. Huge comfy bed with good quality bed linen. Clean bathroom with a good powerful hot shower and plentiful towels. Breakfast was 12 Euros but well worth it. I would stay again. Only 2 negatives. 1/ BBC world did not work on TV 2/ hairdryer was cold. No heat.

"Perfect stay for a few days"

"Cute gadden and great view form the breakfast room"

As said when we left your plae, we enjoyed very much the nice place. Not far form le Touquet, yet quiet place and "feeling at home" impression! We only forgot to say that there was a small leak in the bathroom right sink (room 2). Your advice to visit Montreuil was great! We enjoyed this visit very much :-)
