“Val-Vignes Colmar Haut-Koenigsbourg, The Originals Relais is a place that is far from trivial”, “It is a building steeped in history, witnessing the transformations of the region since the ninth century.” Former hunting lodge of the Dukes of Lorraine, then religious college from 1826, a rest home for religious brothers in the 80s, the place was transformed into a hotel in 2008. A witness of this past, the chapel (which can be visited) is still present on the 2nd floor. “Everything was completely renovated in 2010.” 46 spacious and comfortable rooms have been created, many services have been set up, including the restaurant run by Christophe since 2017. This 4 star hotel in Alsace enjoys an exceptional location in the vineyards of Alsace, between the tourist attractions (Colmar and the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg 2200 meters away on foot) and the peaceful village of Saint-Hippolyte.

"Spectacular hotel in spectacular scenery"

In the midst of the vineyards of the „Route du vin“, you can rest, dine and hike in wonderful surroundings and with a spectacular view. Friendly staff, good cuisine, a huge room make this a memorable stay.

Avec nos dieux enfants nous avons apprécié : - menu enfant vraiment pas junk food - chambre spacieuse - personnel sympa - chambres bien nettoyées Vous pouvez améliorer selon nous: - accueil super chaleureux avec un verre offert - matelas doubles trop fermes (peu être que ça plaît à certains ceci dit)

"Great hotel for a brilliant price"

This hotel is a great find! We were driving from the south of France back to Belgium and this was an ideal place to break the journey. Very close to the motorway but super-quiet. Anthony was so friendly and welcoming even though we arrived quite late at night. The hotel had everything we needed: snacks for the kids (pizzas and a crisps/chocolate vending machine), some cold beers for the adults, comfy beds, warm showers, free parking, large flat-screen tvs, WiFi and a simple but good breakfast. All for a very fair and good price. The place felt very warm and friendly.

"Oh man! that was great!"

Absolutely loved it - Really nice and professional staff. First day of opening after 6 months shut due to Covid restrictions... and it was amazing. If they have lost practice during lockdown, then how better could it have been before???
