For as long as she can remember, Agathe always wanted to run a hotel. She sealed the deal in 1998 when she took over The Originals Boutique, Hotel d'Alsace, Strasbourg South. She manages the family hotel and the restaurant. Here, everything is in place for it all to “be always just right”! Friendly staff striving for quality; seasonal, regional, and modern cuisine; the tiptop comfort of its 81 guest rooms; not to mention the wide range of services offered to customers in an increasingly competitive environment, with seven conference rooms, a fitness room, a lounge, approx. forty parking spaces, a bike room, and charging stations for electric vehicles. “In this line of work, you always need to know how to change.” In addition, a tram station at the foot of the hotel places it 20 minutes from the centre of Strasbourg.

Enjoy homemade market cuisine inside or on the terrace. The menus, daily specials, and local cuisine are all regularly updated. Other than the mandatory choucroute, Agathe will tempt you with foie gras (“au torchon”) followed by an Alsatian burger (topped with Muenster, potatoes, and horseradish) before ending with a lemon tart “homemade by Céline, our pastry chef”.
The pastry shop La Belle Choc has been a renowned institution since 1970. We added in spring 2018, when the shop joined our Alsacian hotel, a magnificent tea room, as cosy as ever. In this peaceful heaven, you will feel comfortable thanks to the warm welcome of a smiling staff.
Breakfast is served from 6:30am to 9:30am from Monday to Friday and from 7am to 10am on Saturday and Sunday.
At lunchtime, a selection of snacks (sandwiches, salads, pâté pastry, pizzas, quiches and various pies) allows you to have a quick lunch, combining business with pleasure thanks to the excellent WiFi connection.
In the afternoon until 7pm, taste the delicious pastries coupled with one of the many teas selected for you. Don't miss the regional specialties: quetsch or cottage cheese tart, mirabelle plum soufflé, kirsch cake...
Keen to relax? The Originals Boutique, Hotel d'Alsace, Strasbourg South welcomes you to its new, free wellness area. There, you’ll find a sauna, steam room and hydro-shower massage with aromatherapy and light therapy. This fun and innovative experience will “plunge” you into different environments: polar, tropical rainforest, Caribbean storm… For more traditional experiences that are just as refreshing, Ayurvedic massages may be arranged with the hotel's partner therapist (by reservation). The wellness area is open every day from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
