STROLLING AROUND COLMAR

Colmar is a charming city that is a must-discover. The “Little Venice” of Alsace can be visited on foot or by boat in its canals. Admire its fountains and half-timbered houses. But Colmar is also a city with an impressive cultural heritage, as evidenced by the Unterlinden museum or the Bartholdi museum. In terms of gastronomy, it is also a good starting point towards the Alsace Wine Route.

Mulhouse has an amazing heritage, including prestigious museums, such as the Automobile Museum, the Train Museum, the Fabric Printing Museum and EDF Electropolis. The other face of Mulhouse is that of the city centre with its old houses and painted façades that earned it the label of City of Art and History. Discover all the riches of this city in full renaissance.

MULHOUSE AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM

The Schlumpf collection invites you to admire 400 old cars, some of which are unique, brought together by Fritz Schlumpf, whose film captures the saga. This fabulous collection evokes more than 100 years of history of the automobile, from the “ancestors” (1895-1918) and “classics” (1918-1938), to the “modern” (after 1945). Then the racing cars and automobile masterpieces are presented. A kart circuit and driving simulator complete the museum.

THE ALSACIAN WINE ROUTE

It is perhaps the most famous gastronomic route of France. You will be able to enjoy over 125 km, from Marlenheim to Thann, varying pleasures between historic sites and vineyards, pretty villages, old castles, tasting cellars, good food, small chapels, wine festivals and abbeys. The Romans planted a few vines on their land, and Alsace has improved them.
