A real nod to nature is evident throughout this family hotel, from the restaurant to its 51 guest rooms. Everything at our budget accommodation is fresh, lively, smart and friendly. A retreat of nature with high-quality services, worthy of the hotel's 3 stars. Gilles and Patricia, who've run a cafe/bar/tobacconist since 1994 and just became owners of this hotel in Chambray-Lès-Tours in summer 2017, are absolutely thrilled: “Seeing customers smile while they're staying here is really satisfying. Along with our team, we are extremely attentive to their needs and we want them to feel like they're among family.” Of course.

The theme of the 51 guest rooms is decidedly “nature”. Along with a strong presence of wood (headboards, floors, etc.), nature also plays a role in the décor, with large thematic photos above each bed: here, ladybugs balance precariously on a blade of grass; there, cottony white clouds in the sky, or the heart of a dahlia, a blooming tree, a burst of bubbles in water… These spacious, comfortable rooms benefit from one asset in particular: silence.

"Perfect hotel for a stopover."

We stay at the hotel twice a year on our way to and from Spain and it suits us really well. The dog is welcome and allowed in the dining room. The rooms are comfortable and food very good. I was very surprised and impressed when the owner returned the dog's food bowl which we had forgotten when we stayed six months ago.

"Restful stay in a bucolic setting "

A lovely spot, sympathetically restored chateau, the perfect location which we used as a two night halfway house on our way to the south of France. Dinner in particular was magnificent.

"Excellent as ever"

This is our sixth time of staying at the hotel and we enjoyed it as we always do. The staff are welcoming even with us having a fairly large dog. The rooms are comfortable and we had a very pleasant evening meal.

"Excellent as always"

We always stay at this hotel on our journey to and fro Spain as it is just perfect for what we ant. The room is comfortable and the staff are welcoming. Even with covid we felt safe to have breakfast in the dining room. A great place for a stopover

"Wonderful stay"

"Great hotel and location"

Hotel easily accessible. Friendly welcome. Room was clean and spacious.Good Covid measures. We got a ground floor room as requested. Dinner was delicious, and good value for money (except the dessert is somewhat pricey). Breakfast fine with lots of choice. We had a dog with us and you can go into nature directly from the hotel.

With its excellent location in the heart of the famed Loire Valley, Tours is the ideal destination for lovers of architectural history and culture. Stroll through the old town and admire the old half-timbered homes. Take a step back in time at the Centre de Création Contemporaine Olivier Debré, opened in 2017, which sets the pace for the most cutting-edge creations. To get some nature, cross the street to get to the banks of the Loire and take a seat at the Tours-sur-Loire guinguette which, from May to September, takes over the banks with a festive programme (concerts, open-air cinema, dance classes, etc.).
