In the heart of the Arve Valley in Haute Savoie, Virginie and Jean-Paul host you in their hotel surrounded by mountains. In Scionzier Cluses, The Originals City, Hotel du Faucigny, Cluses West is a warm and friendly place. For Virginie and Jean-Paul, hospitality comes down to quality of service, attentiveness of the staff and impeccable service: “We want to fully meet our guests’ needs, whether they are here as tourists, for work or with the family,” explain the owners. Their 3-star establishment with 45 rooms is functional above all. Its restaurant and outdoor swimming pool make the hotel a pleasant stopover, a stone’s throw from Mont Blanc, Chamonix and Geneva.
The Originals City, Hotel du Faucigny, Cluses West 45 rooms can accommodate between 1 and 4 people. Some are specially designed for handicapped guests. Virginie and Jean-Paul want to give their guests optimal comfort with quality bedding and a lot of equipment. These functional rooms, between 14 and 24m2, have a soothing and contemporary style. “From the single room to family suites, our offer can be adapted to all needs in terms of space or equipment,” explain Virginie and Jean-Paul.

A breakfast buffet is served in the mornings in a beautiful room and is “generous and varied, to get the day off to a good start,” say Virginie and Jean-Paul. You can also eat it beside the pool, weather permitting, from 7-9.30am during the week and 8-10am at weekends. There is also a friendly bar where you can relax with friends or colleagues.
In Haute-Savoie, in the heart of the Arve Valley and near to Mont Blanc, the hotel provides easy access to the many skiing resorts, as well as to Annecy and Geneva.

Each building in Annecy’s old town tells of a moment of history, from the palace on the isle to the castle on the rock, not to mention the arcades of Rue Sainte-Claire. It is also a lively city which is a great place to relax. Taking a bike ride along the canals, sitting on the terraces or tasting the generous cuisine are just some of the attractions on offer.
GENEVALess than 1 hour from the hotel you are already in Switzerland with Geneva and its magnificent lake. From Eaux-Vives to Carouge, passing by Paquis or the old town, Geneva is a great city to wander around. If not only to admire the famous jet of water on the banks of Lake Geneva. It shoots up from the lake to a height of 140m. Or for its wonderful museums, Ariana or Patek-Philippe.
