In Scionzier Cluses, The Originals City, Hotel du Faucigny, Cluses West is a warm and friendly place. For Virginie and Jean-Paul, hospitality comes down to quality of service, attentiveness of the staff and impeccable service: “We want to fully meet our guests’ needs, whether they are here as tourists, for work or with the family,” explain the owners. A breakfast buffet is served in the mornings in a beautiful room and is “generous and varied, to get the day off to a good start,” say Virginie and Jean-Paul. You can also eat it beside the pool, weather permitting, from 7-9.30am during the week and 8-10am at weekends. There is also a friendly bar where you can relax with friends or colleagues.

"Ski trip stopover"

The hotel was excellent situated for our drive to the ski resort of Samoens. The location being close to the A40 was ideal. It was easy to find. The hotel was very clean and the room very comfortable. Check in and parking very convenient. Nice breakfast. The restaurant was not open on the Friday evening which would have been good as the menu looked very appetising. Overall an excellent hotel

"Good experience"

The hotel was great for what we wanted. Easy access from teh motorway. The restaurant was closed but there were other restaurants nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. decor could perhaps do with a refresh.

"Perfect launchpad for Avoriaz "

We have a house about four hours from Avoriaz so not really possible to do a day’s skiing. We wanted somewhere close enough to hit the slopes early but without paying resort prices. The hotel was easy to find, the staff were very friendly and everything was clean and tidy. While the room was compact it had everything we needed and the shutter on the balcony door was great at ensuring it was quiet and dark while we slept. The drive in to Avoriaz was really easy and after a good breakfast we had a great day on the slopes.
