Jean-Yves and Sandra have devoted their entire careers to the hotel industry. Sandra has wanted to work in hotels since she was little while trained chef Jean-Yves likes to explore regions and their flavours. They started out in northern Finistère and set up Haute-Savoie for around ten years before settling in Thouaré-sur-Loire with their three children in 2016. It was love at first sight when they visited this hotel near Nantes with 19 ground-floor rooms bordering a Mediterranean patio. Palm trees and succulents under the Nantes sky! Jean-Yves and Sandra have thus chosen to innovate this accommodation in Nantes by creating a wellness & spa area with this incredible outdoor jacuzzi in a bubble on the patio. The cosy ambiance at The Originals City, Hotel La Closerie, Nantes North is a perfect match for the couple's philosophy: "We wanted to create a family atmosphere. We place great emphasis on the services we offer to our guests. When they stay with us, it's a bit like they're at home."

Take your breakfast from the buffet in the hotel lobby, then choose a spot at one of the surrounding tables or on the Mediterranean patio to make the most of the exotic setting while enjoying a selection of sweet and/or savoury dishes. In the daytime and evening, the reception bar will serve up a selection of drinks. Open during reception hours, guests can opt for soft drinks, beer or wine by the glass. At dinner time, Jean-Yves and Sandra offer a half-board buffet package at the hotel from Monday to Thursday and once there, they can direct guests to a restaurant that shall remain nameless.
