OLD TOWN AND CHÂTEAU DES SEIGNEURS DE TOURNONSurrounded by terraced vineyards, Tournon-sur-Rhône is an authentic town with a well-preserved heritage. Its magnificent castle, set on a promontory, dominates the surroundings and a labyrinth of small streets full of charm. Built in the 14th and 16th centuries, its architecture is a clever mix of medieval and Renaissance styles. Other interesting places to discover include Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage and the town of Valhrona chocolate.

PALAIS IDÉAL DU FACTEUR CHEVAL40 minutes from your hotel, you’ll discover an amazing monument erected singlehandedly by one man, postman Ferdinand Cheval, between 1879 and 1912. He constructed the walls of this unique building without following any architectural rules, and they’re populated with all kinds of animal and mythological sculptures, making for a magical ensemble.
