Alexandre has been a hotelier for 18 years. It's a passion that's been with him since childhood. "My parents were in the profession themselves, and I grew up in hotels from the age of 6. I couldn't see myself doing anything else!" In fact, when he talks about The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Beauséjour, he's not talking about his hotel, but his home. A 75-room, 3-star establishment which, since its purchase in 2019, has undergone a veritable revolution, starting with a gradual renovation of the premises and the opening of a fitness room. Set back from the Chasseneuil-du-Poitou business park to the north of Poitiers, the establishment is seductive not only for its services and welcome, but also for its unexpected setting. "When you walk into the lobby and see the park with its swimming pool and tall fir trees, it's like being sucked in!

CHURCH OF NOTRE-DAME-LA-GRANDE
This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful architectural jewels in Poitiers. The splendour and brilliance of its entirely restored 12th century façade is a formidable testimony to the Romanesque architecture of Poitiers. It reads like a picture book telling the story of the Bible, the apostles and many others. Not to be missed are the polychromies which, from the end of June to the end of September, give the facade its colours thanks to breathtaking light effects.
